What is InstaPay and where can I use it?

InstaPay is a Peer to Peer payment system that utilizes virtual wallets to expediently send and receive payment transactions. It is a quick way to send funds instantaneously. Please be aware that InstaPay requires identity verification to secure the legitimacy of every user being who they say they are.

InstaPay can be used in every state in the United States of America. There are plans to expand further but for now it is based in the US. It is downloadable via the google play store and the apple app store.

Is my information shared and why is a valid form of identification required?

Your Information is not shared or distributed to any third party that is external to InstaPay and the programs/software that is utilized to process transactions for InstaPay. Our goal is only to utilize your information only for verifying your identity, that you are of the legal age of 18 years old, and your contact information if you need to contact you regarding your account. Since this is your money and your account we ask for identification to make sure that no one else is using your information in order to manipulate our services by having funds being controlled by someone other than the verified user.

Why is my account associated with a region?

Your account is associated with a region (or territory) in the Terms of Service so that we can determine several things:

The Google affiliate that provides the services, that processes your information, and that is responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws. Generally, Google offers its consumer services through either of two companies:
Google Ireland Limited, if you’re located in the European Economic Area (EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway) or Switzerland
Google LLC, based in the United States, for the rest of the world
The version of the terms that govern our relationship, which can vary depending on local laws
The application of region-specific requirements for Google services where you live
